Tourettes Without Drugs

Nutritional therapy for tourette syndrome

My Story

My Story

I am a 45 year old male with a severe case of tourette syndrome. I have had symptoms since I was about 3 years old. They were almost imperceptible until I was 9 and then they instantly became very severe. I was diagnosed with tourettes by a neurologist (as well as hyperactivity and ADD) and told the only thing I could do was to take Haldol. My family was getting into alternative therapies at the time for other reasons so they decide against the Haldol. I’m glad they did because I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about the use of that drug. Let me say here that I have never taken Haldol and I never will. Nor will I take any other medication for tourettes. It took many years of experimentation and reading for us to figure out how to use nutrition alone to control tourettes but we finally got a handle on it. As I got older I continued to experiment with nutrition to hone my skills so to speak and now I offer that knowledge free of charge to anyone who desires it.

What Nutrition Can Do For You

This is not a cure for tourettes. This is a way of living that will drastically reduce the spasms so that one can live normally without having to take drugs the rest of one’s life.

I personally play 11 instruments and several sports, work, travel and party just like anybody else and as severe as my case is I take no medication. I only pay attention to the foods I eat to keep the tourette spasms under control. It requires dedication and discipline but if I can do it anyone can.
